While reading through the Bible passage together is an important part of learning about God from Scripture, giving yourself some space beforehand will make it easier for everyone involved! This means letting go of any preconceived ideas about what someone else thinks about certain issues before sharing them-and vice versa! This way when discussion happens afterward they’ll all be open-minded and willing to listen instead of focusing just one viewpoint at once (which could happen if there wasn’t enough time beforehand). Give each other space for individual reflection.It’s also important to find a place where the two of you can be alone together-this will help ensure that the meeting is focused on how each person feels about what was read, rather than being distracted by other people or places around them.
